Shawnee Town 1929
Shawnee Town 1929 is a living museum where visitors of all ages learn what it was like to live in Shawnee, Kansas in the 1920s. Among a farmhouse, a school, a barbershop, and typewriter repair shop, museum leadership wished to open W.M. Garrett & Sons — an exact replica of a 1920s grocer. Beveridge Seay delighted in the opportunity to partner with Avila University to bring this experience to life through period packaging. The effort included the recreation and digitization of hundreds of packaging designs that were then applied to modern cans and boxes.
